Up for sale is a low mileage, overall clean 1982 Ford Fairmont Futura with the 200 straight six. This car has a little over 55,000 miles!
The body is solid with no holes and only minor surface rust along the bottoms of the doors (see pics). Interior is nearly perfect except for a crack in the dash, otherwise no tears, stains or damage of any kind. All accessories work except for the A/C and passenger front power window. Power locks and stereo all work. Mechanically the car is good, the 200 straight six starts and runs well, just don’t expect to take off in a hurry!
Transmission shifts well, brakes are in good condition and work well also. The only thing I think will need replaced is the U-joints as they clang a bit when shifting between drive and reverse, an easy and cheap repair.
Drive it as a daily driver or it would make the perfect sleeper as it’s a Fox body and will take a 5.0 drivetrain easily! Cash only!
