I bought this 4 door 82 mercury zephyr aka ford fairmont to work on as a school project but haven’t had the opportunity to start. it needs work to run. the alternator was bad and I’ve pulled it but haven’t gotten a new one to put in. it also has a blown head gasket. I planned on replacing both items but had my tools stolen so it’s just sitting. it has the 200 3.3l i-6 motor so repairs are simple. great motor for beginning mechanics to work on. body has some dings but could be a fun starter car for someone interested in the automotive field.
