1979 Ford Fairmont 4dr wagon
136k original miles
Rides and Drives good
Clean title in hand

Automatic
3.3 L Straight 6 engine
Rack & Pinion steering (same as the old mustangs)
No rust that I am aware of
Straight frame – no accidents that I’m aware of
(I’m the 3rd owner – when I bought it there were 54K miles on it)

AC/Heat work as they should
CD stereo w/ speakers in the front and back & blue tooth
Roof Rack
Tow Hitch
Tires still have life to them

That’s the good. She’s 44 years old so there are some things that don’t work as well as when she was new.
Engine does lose a bit of oil – not sure why
And there is probably a small exhaust leak
The paint is original so the AZ sun is baking it off
Driver side of the bench seat has some split stitching
Other than that the inside is in pretty good condition in my opinion
One of the reverse light covers on the hatch is missing

She’s an old car but she drives like a dream. We are selling only because we have a teen about to learn and we wanted her to have abs brakes and manual transmission.

Just to try to avoid some of the frustration – no I won’t take a check for more, cash it, and give you the difference…. I won’t think you are a gem of a person when you offer to take it off of my hands for $125. I won’t drive it to you for a test drive.
Basically, I am looking for an honest person with cash looking for a nice historical vehicle. Preferably someone who knows how to work on them because I’d like to think she will still be on the road in another 44 years.

We are located just outside of Bouse, AZ (very west of Phoenix – out by Quartzsite and Parker AZ)
