I have a ’79 Fairmont for sale, with a factory 302 and 4 speed stick. I can pull up the Marti report if you want to show it’s not a swap. Quick car, But it needs work to be nice. Lots of surface rust, needs paint and body work. It’s all stock except the air cleaner. Needs a fuel tank sending unit, I think it’s around 40 bucks from NPD new, maybe cheaper for a reman. Runs and drives, I take it to work sometimes. It’s loud, exhaust is an ’85 Mustang H-pipe that I cut off just after the cats since the hangers broke. I’m the documented second owner. odometer works and is sitting at 60k-ish, the original owner says it rolled over once. Seats, headliner, and carpet need love, but the dash and door panels are perfect. I saw in the build sheet an option for “sport suspension” and the electric window defroster, which makes this the only Fairmont with these options according to the marti report, and the 302/4 speed combo is rare for sure. Selling because I have a problem, I tend to get bored and move on to the next project I guess. So, I’ll consider trades for anything cool or off the wall, but I prefer 4 wheels, no bikes. I’m really wanting an early-mid 70’s ford truck with a 460.
