1978 Mercury zephyr boxtop and 1981 Ford Fairmont futura. Both run and yard move. Both straight 6 autos.
Would like to try to sell them together.
The white zephyr engine sounds real healthy but could use a new carb.
The previous owner cut the coil springs and welded the differential. Has a little cancer here and there. Main problem is the hood hinge mounting area. I have new sheet metal for the repair that is included.
The blue Fairmont is a really solid car. With some rareish options. Bucket seats, sunroof, etc. Engine has a knock but runs and moves. Lots of surface rust and could only find one bad spot in the spare tire well that would be easy to repair.
My plan was to take suspension and new carburetor from blue car and swap to white car and make it driver. 5 lug swap and big block in the blue car.
$2500 for the pair.
