More Details & Pictures

For sale is my one of a kind Fairmont Futura. There is no Fairmont in the US like it.

I’ve had the car since 2013. I purchased it as a stock rust free driver from AZ. Since then, the car has been heavily customized. Bumpers were cut, sectioned and moved in. Fenders and quarters were modified to cap the bumpers so as to blend them in. Front lower valance was built to house oil coolers for the engine and transmission while adding support to the lower splitter. Rear was modified to allow me to add 1970 Mercury Comet tail lights.
Body is painted in PPG single stage Competition Orange. Paint was done in 2016. interior is totally custom, fabricated using 1.25” chromoly tubing and steel sheet metal covered in leather. Recaro seats, New Vintage USA instruments, MS3x ECU, totally rewired using Ron Francis panel. Pioneer audio system.

Engine is 2JZGTE with 2000 miles since total rebuild. New water pump, oil pump, timing belt. Engine has new aluminum intake, 90mm TB, 1000 cc injectors, BC 264 cams. New SS exhaust manifold has Boost lab BL 64 turbo sitting on it. Estimated horsepower is 600.

Trans is a Nissan 370Z CD009 6 speed, shifted by a Collins short throw shifter, if anything can be said negative about this is that the 4-5 gear change is difficult due to the extremely tight pattern.
Wheels are 17×8(f), and 17×11 American racing 2 piece AR 500’s, 245-17 Sumitomo front 315-17 Toyo ProxesTQ rear tires

Shortened 8.8 has Moser 31 spline axles, Detroit Trutrac diff, and Ford racing 3.31 gears. Gears do make some noise in high gear.
Vehicle is street driven, runs on pump premium. I regularly drive the thing to shows as far off as 350 miles. Mileage ranges between 23-26 mpg @ 75 mph. This is a super comfortable, stupid fast car, with electronic power steering, big power brakes, and cold AC.

If you want the only one of these cars out there, this is it. Every other Fairmont/Zephyr still sports the same plastic fox interior, the same plastic gap fillers between the bumpers, that stick out a mile, and has the same hazy tail lights.  I’m not wanting to trade for anything but am willing to negotiate my selling price if we can get close. If I add the total investment I’d bet there is over 50k in the car, and I’ve done all the work myself. If I had to pay someone else it’d be even higher.
